Portfolio
In recent years, my work has mostly focused on AI, but before that, I spent over a decade writing and creating content in the tech space. My portfolio includes more than 10,000 published pieces—everything from software and product reviews to curated lists, category hubs, news blurbs, and long-form features.
Muckrack - My Muckrack profile is a much better snapshot of my tech writing than this page. It’ essentially a highlight reel of some of my favorite pieces and the most complete collection of my published work.
Medium - A more personal space I use when I have something to say that doesn’t quite fit on social media. It’s where I published my piece on Long Covid, which—counting shares on Twitter, Reddit, and elsewhere—is easily the most read thing I’ve ever written.
AndroidPolice - The most recent (and last) stop in my tech content journey. Not sure how long my author tag will stay up, but for now, this links to all my posts on the site: lists, roundups, features, and a lot of commerce work. Most of it was ephemeral, but a few evergreen pieces and features remain some of my best.
Apps of the Week - My longest-running column, which ran weekly for nearly six years on a small Apple blog called iDB. These were a blast to write and pushed me to research and discover all kinds of amazing new apps and games. I really hit my stride in the last year or two, landing on a playful, sarcastic writing style I can only describe as “overly Cody.”
Downtime podcast - Formerly known as Let’s Talk iOS, this iDB podcast hit nearly 400 episodes over a span of seven years. Early on, we regularly cracked the top 10 in Apple’s tech podcast rankings, but once bigger sites and personalities showed up, we got bumped down the list. Still, I’m super proud of the consistency and effort we put in, and I’ll always cherish the fun conversations with my co-host and good friend, Sebastien.
